Regular Season Round 10: Police - Tong Whye 62-79

There was no surprise when 10th rankedPolice (2-7) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Tong Whye (6-3) 79-62 on Thursday. Sashi Pillay had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 23 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Lavin Raj V (201-2000) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Sim Jun responded with 10 points and 7 rebounds and Emgeeyar Gopal scored 7 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. Tong Whye moved-up to fourth place. Newly promoted Police keeps the tenth position with seven games lost.
