Very expected game when 9th rankedNanyang (2-5) was smashed on the road by fourth ranked Chong Ghee (6-1) 82-45 on Saturday. Chong Ghee forced 27 Nanyang turnovers. The winners were led by Jun-Wei Leow who scored that evening 21 points and international guard Justen Chiam (177-2002) supported him with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Chong Ghee players scored in double figures. Even 7 points and 7 rebounds by Aik Chua-Cheong did not help to save the game for Nanyang . Keagan So added 7 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chong Ghee have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Adroit. Nanyang lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with five games lost.
