The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second rankedGeresa (10-2) played at the court of 5th ranked Pella (4-8). Geresa smashed Pella 101-75 . Geresa dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Pella 's 36. They outrebounded Pella 48-33 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Geresa players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Ahmad Alhamarsheh stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Akef Al Shiyab chipped in 25 points and 5 assists. At the losing side American power forward Devin Gilmore (200-1997, college: Murray St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists and international swingman Ahmad Hammouri (194-2003) scored 27 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Geresa keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Philadelphia. Pella lost third consecutive game. Pella at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the sixth place with eight games lost.
