Regular Season Round 30: Borneo - Hangtuah 90-81

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Pontianak where 9th ranked Hangtuah (7-14) was defeated by tenth ranked Borneo (7-14) 90-81. Borneo outrebounded Hangtuah 48-30 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for American guard Michael Qualls (197-1994, college: Arkansas) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 17 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. The other American import forward Steve Taylor Jr. (206-1993, college: Toledo) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Belgian forward Thomas De Thaey (203-1991, college: NC State) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and American-Nigerian guard Michael Kolawole (195-1997, college: Lamar) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Hangtuah. Hangtuah's coach Andika Supriadi rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Borneo moved-up to ninth place, which they share with defeated Hangtuah.
