Regular Season Round 27: Bali Utd. - Simba Bogor 81-88

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Denpasar where 6th ranked Bali Utd. (11-11) was defeated by seventh ranked Rans Pik (11-9) 88-81 on Saturday. Rans Pik made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Bali Utd. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was LeBryan Nash (198, college: OK State) who had a double-double by scoring 32 points and 14 rebounds. Kenney Funderburk (193-1992, college: Columbus St.) chipped in 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Rans Pik players scored in double figures. Rans Pik's coach Wahyu Jati used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Xavier Cannefax (184-1989, college: WPU, agency: Interperformances) who recorded 32 points and 6 assists and center Kierell Green (203-1997, college: Edinboro) added 9 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Rans Pik moved-up to sixth place. Bali Utd. at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost.
