Regular Season Round 21: Steelers - Fubon Braves 107-98

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked Fubon Braves (14-18) were defeated by bottom-ranked Steelers (9-25) 107-98 on Saturday. Steelers made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Steelers had a 38-27 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Rayvonte Rice (193-1992, college: Illinois) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 46 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds for the winners and international point guard Yu-Wei Chen (183-1999) chipped in 17 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. Steelers' coach Ta-Tsung Chiu allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American forward Tyler Bey (201-1998, college: Colorado) with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 22 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and the other American import power forward Chris Johnson (210-1985, college: LSU, agency: Worldwide SM) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Steelers maintains sixth place with 9-25 record. Defending champion Fubon Braves keep the fifth position with 18 games lost. Steelers will meet league's second-placed Dreamers in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fubon Braves will play against Lioneers in Hsinchu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
