Regular Season Round 19: Taiwan Beer L. - Tainan GH 125-121

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Leopards (16-9) beat bottom-ranked GhostHawks (7-18) 125-121 on Sunday. Taiwan Beer L. made 29-of-35 free shots (82.9 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American-Liberian Lasan Kromah (198-1991, college: UConn) who led the winners and scored 44 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American center Devin Williams (206-1994, college: WVU) accounted for 23 points and 19 rebounds for the winning side. Lithuanian center Egidijus Mockevicius (208-1992, college: Evansville) came up with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Croatian Domagoj Vukovic (208-1993) added 21 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Tainan in the defeat. Four Taiwan Beer L. and five Tainan players scored in double figures. GhostHawks' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Leopards. Taiwan Beer L. keeps a position of league leader. Loser GhostHawks stay at the bottom place with 18 games lost. Taiwan Beer L. will meet Taipei TM (#4) in the next round. Tainan will play against Kaohsiung A. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
