No shocking result in a game when fourth rankedBroncos (34-16) beat 8th ranked Tachikawa (25-25) in Saitama 106-102 on Sunday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Saitama made 25-of-28 free shots (89.3 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American forward Jordan Faison (201-1994, college: CPP) who scored that evening 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Nigerian-American power forward Maxie Esho (206-1991, college: UMass) supported him with 26 points and 9 rebounds. Four Broncos players scored in double figures. Broncos' coach Shugaku Izumi used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 34 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds by American power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-1990, college: Oklahoma, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Tachikawa . His fellow American import power forward DeVaughn Washington (203-1989, college: Ohio, agency: Mansfield and Associates) added 9 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Broncos have a solid four-game winning streak. Saitama maintains fourth position with 34-16 record. Newly promoted Tachikawa keeps the eighth place with 25 games lost. They share the position with Shanan Utd.
