Not a big story in a game when 20th rankedBlue Whales (4-47) were outscored by third ranked Golden Bulls (39-11) in Sichuan 119-85 on Saturday. Zhejiang GB. looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Naturalized American center Harold Yu (221-2003) notched 29 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and international Shuaipeng Cheng (191-1999) supported him with 13 points and 7 assists. Five Golden Bulls players scored in double figures. Even 8 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 blocks by Nigerian Christopher Obekpa (206-1993, college: UNLV) did not help to save the game for Sichuan . Australian forward Venkatesha Jois (203-1993, college: EWU, agency: Worldwide SM) added 16 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Golden Bulls have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Zhejiang GB. moved-up to second place, which they share with Xinjiang. Sichuan lost twenty first consecutive game. They stay dead last with 47 lost games.
