Regular Season Round 51: Saitama - Tachikawa 91-87

Rather predictable result in Saitama where fourth rankedBroncos (33-16) beat 8th ranked Tachikawa (25-24) 91-87 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Saitama looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for Nigerian-American power forward Maxie Esho (206-1991, college: UMass) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 15 rebounds. American forward Jordan Faison (201-1994, college: CPP) helped adding 17 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. The best for the losing side was American power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-1990, college: Oklahoma, agency: Octagon Europe) with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import power forward DeVaughn Washington (203-1989, college: Ohio, agency: Mansfield and Associates) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Saitama and four Tachikawa players scored in double figures. Tachikawa's coach Takeo Mabashi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Broncos have a solid series of three victories in a row. Saitama maintains fourth place with 33-16 record. Newly promoted Tachikawa keeps the eighth position with 24 games lost.
