Very predictable result when fifth rankedGambarous (30-15) won against 14th ranked Shinagawa (15-30) in Tokushima 83-69 on Saturday. Tokushima Gam. forced 19 Shinagawa turnovers. American power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-1996, college: CSUN, agency: One Motive Sports) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import power forward Jeremy Combs (201-1995, college: Texas Southern) supported him with 16 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Four Gambarous players scored in double figures. Even 7 points and 12 rebounds by American center Hayden Koval (216-1997, college: Cincinnati, agency: Diamond Sports) did not help to save the game for Shinagawa . Canadian center Renaldo Dixon (206-1990, college: NM State) added 11 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gambarous have an impressive six-game winning streak. Tokushima Gam. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Saitama. Loser Shinagawa keeps the fourteenth position with 30 games lost. They share it with Yamaguchi.
