Rather expected game when 4th placedChanghua (4-11) was defeated by first ranked Taiwan Beer (12-3) 75-66 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American power forward John Fields (205-1988, college: Tennessee) who had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds. The former international center Shih-En Fan (198-1994) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Taiwan Beer's coach Chun-San Chou used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American center Tevin Glass (203-1994, college: ETSU) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and center Erdenetsetseg Sugar-Ochir (200-1999) added 18 points and 14 rebounds respectively for Taiwan Beer . They have a solid series of four victories in a row. Taiwan Beer maintains first place with 12-3 record. Loser Changhua stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost.
