LeaderWonju DB delivered the 37th victory on Thursday night. This time they beat 10th ranked Samsung Thunders (12-35) 99-85 . Wonju DB shot 60.7 percent from the field. Strangely Seoul Thunders outrebounded Wonju DB 41-22 including a 22-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Wonju DB especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American power forward Dedric Lawson (206-1997, college: Kansas) stepped up and scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and the former international forward SangJae Kang (202-1994) chipped in 16 points and 9 assists. Five Wonju DB players scored in double figures. At the losing side Jamaican center Kofi Cockburn (213-1999, college: Illinois) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 15 rebounds and center Weon-Seok Lee (203-2000) scored 8 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Wonju DB (37-10) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place. Seoul Thunders at the other side stay dead last with 35 lost games.
