No shocking result in a game when third rankedMagic (24-18) crushed 8th ranked Grouses (4-38) in Shimane 97-75 on Wednesday. Shimane SM dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Grouses 's 34. Shimane SM outrebounded Toyama G. 45-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. Shimane SM looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Perrin Buford (198-1994, college: MTSU, agency: Pensack Sports) who led the winners with a triple-double by scoring 23 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists. The former international guard Seiya Ando (181-1992) accounted for 33 points (!!!) for the winning side. British forward Myles Hesson (198-1990, agency: Octagon Europe) came up with 16 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Quincy Miller-Scott (206-1992, college: Baylor, agency: Slash Sports) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Toyama G. in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Shimane SM maintains third place with 24-18 record having ten points less than leader Tochigi Brex, which they share with Gunma CT. Toyama G. lost fourteenth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 38 games lost.
