No shocking result in a game when fourth rankedThunders (23-18) won against on the road 6th ranked Nagasaki (16-25) 85-67 on Saturday. Gunma CT shot 22 for 33 from the free-throw line, while Nagasaki only scored five points from the stripe. The best player for the winners was American guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-1990, college: Miami, FL) who scored 28 points and 4 assists. Ghanian-American Ben Bentil (206-1995, college: Providence) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Thunders players scored in double figures. American power forward Nick Perkins (203-1996, college: Buffalo) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and the other American import forward Matt Bonds (196-1995, college: St.Michael's) added 10 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Nagasaki's coach tested eleven players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Thunders . Gunma CT moved-up to third place, which they share with Shimane SM. Nagasaki lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the sixth position with 25 games lost.
