A very close game took place in Tokyo betweenSwoops and United . Eleventh ranked Swoops (17-23) got a very close victory on the road over higher ranked United (22-16). Swoops managed to escape with a 1-point win 73-72 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of United. American-Dominican forward AJ Bramah (201-1999, college: Nevada) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Kaisei Takahashi (175-2003) accounted for 15 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. Four Swoops players scored in double figures. American swingman Michael Craig (196-1991, college: Southern Miss) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds and Nigerian forward Chukwudiebere Maduabum (206-1991) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Tokyo Utd in the defeat. United's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Gifu moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Tokyo Z and Shanan Utd. Newly promoted Tokyo Utd keeps the seventh position with 16 games lost.
