Tokushima Gam. (#4) was upset in Tokushima by eighth ranked Tokyo Utd 88-76 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Gambarous. United players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Gambarous were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Ren Kawashima (180-1994) notched 20 points, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and American Marcus Dove (206-1985, college: OK State) supported him with 13 points and 7 rebounds. United's coach Masaki Hayamizu allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 28 points and 15 rebounds by American power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-1996, college: CSUN, agency: One Motive Sports) did not help to save the game for Gambarous . His fellow American import Cameron Coleman (198-1992, college: York, NE, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) added 16 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Tokyo Utd (21-15) moved-up to seventh place. Tokushima Gam. at the other side keeps the fourth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Saitama and Yokohama.
