Very predictable result in Tokyo where second rankedAlphas (24-15) smashed 7th ranked Niigata A. (5-34) 122-71 on Sunday. Koshigaya A. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Niigata A. 's 20. They outrebounded Niigata A. 35-23 including a 30-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Koshigaya A. looked well-organized offensively handing out 40 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Niigata A. 's players. American swingman LJ Peak (196-1996, college: Georgetown, agency: Pensack Sports) fired 27 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. The other American import forward Justin Harper (208-1989, college: Richmond) chipped in a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Alphas' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
