The game between closely ranked teams ended with Taipower's (0-9) loss to Chunghwa Telecom (3-6) 61-71 on Sunday. It was an exceptional evening for the former international guard Hui-Ju Liu (163-1996) who led the winners and scored 20 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). The former international swingman Yushu Lin (168-1996) accounted for 18 points for the winning side. Wei-Qing Liao came up with 20 points and the former international forward Yi-Tao Su (175-1992) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Taipower in the defeat. Four Taipower players scored in double figures.
