T1 League top team - Leopards (11-5) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked GhostHawks (3-11) in Taoyuan 114-88. Taiwan Beer L. outrebounded Tainan 65-49 including a 47-35 advantage in defensive rebounds. Taiwan Beer L. players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a quality performance for American center Devin Williams (206-1994, college: WVU) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 33 rebounds. His fellow American import power forward DeMarcus Cousins (211-1990, college: Kentucky) accounted for 30 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Five Leopards players scored in double figures. American forward Nick King (201-1995, college: MTSU) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists and Serbian-Montenegrin forward Milko Bjelica (207-1984, agency: BIG) added 19 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Tainan in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Taiwan Beer L. maintains first place with 11-5 record. Tainan lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost. Taiwan Beer L. will play against Kaohsiung A. (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Tainan will have a break next round.
