Regular Season Round 27: KoGas - KCC Egis 100-98

A very close game took place in Inchon betweenKoGas and Egis . Eighth ranked KoGas (13-21) got a very close home victory over 6th ranked Egis (16-16). KoGas managed to escape with a 2-point win 100-98 on Thursday evening. The best player for the winners was Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-1989, college: St.Bonaventure) who had a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Filipino guard Samjosef Belangel (177-1999) chipped in 26 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Joon-Young Choi (200-1994) who recorded 32 points and 7 rebounds and American Alize Johnson (206-1996, college: Missouri St.) added 14 points and 13 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) respectively. Four KCC Egis players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. KoGas moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Anyang. Loser Egis keep the sixth position with 16 games lost.
