Regular Season Round 1: Taiyuan T. - Taipower 72-56

Very significant was Taiyuan Textile's (3-0) victory against Taipower 72-56. Forward Pei-Zhen Luo (175-1998) fired 11 points and 7 assists for the winners. International center Tieh Lin (182-1999) chipped in 7 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Yi-Ting Dai (175-1995) produced 13 points and 5 rebounds and Wei-Lin Wanga added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Taiyuan Textile will meet Cathay Life in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Taipower will play against Chunghua T. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
