We should mention about the upset which took place in Yamaguchi, where higher rankedGambarous (20-10) lost to thirteenth ranked Pats Five (11-19) in a road game 83-88 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Gambarous. Yamaguchi shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. The game was also dominated by American players. Swingman Jelan-Miguel Kendrick (201-1991, college: UNLV, agency: Interperformances) scored 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Desmond Jackson (185-1992, college: AAMU) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Pats Five players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Jeremy Combs (201-1995, college: Texas Southern) with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 18 rebounds and power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-1996, college: CSUN, agency: One Motive Sports) scored 23 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Yamaguchi maintains thirteenth position with 11-19 record. Loser Gambarous dropped to the fourth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Yokohama.
