There was a minor upset when 4th placedBambitious (14-18) lost on the road to sixth ranked Shizuoka (14-18) 75-71 on Sunday. Liberian-American guard Thomas Bropleh (196-1991, college: Boise St.) nailed 24 points for the winning side and American center Kenny Lawson (207-1988, college: Creighton) accounted for 21 points and 7 rebounds. American power forward Cameron Jackson (203-1996, college: Wofford) came up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) and Senegalese center Cheikh Mbodj (208-1987, college: Cincinnati) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Bambitious in the defeat. Bambitious N.'s coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Shizuoka moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Nishinomiya S. and Bambitious.
