There was a minor upset in Daegu where their close opponentAnyang (12-21) was defeated by ninth ranked Skygunners (11-20) 93-86 on Wednesday. Sono SG outrebounded Anyang 38-25 including 23 on the defensive glass. Sono SG looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Forward Jong-hyun Lee (191-1999) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 12 assists for the winners and Nigerian-American center Chinanu Onuaku (207-1996, college: Louisville) chipped in 22 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists. Skygunners' coach Byong-Chul Kim allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American Robert Carter (206-1994, college: Maryland) responded with 32 points and 8 rebounds and guard Sung-Won Choi (180-1995) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Four Anyang players scored in double figures. Sono SG moved-up to eighth place, which they share with KoGas. Anyang lost third consecutive game. Defending champion dropped to the seventh position with 21 games lost.
