Regular Season Round 9: Pilots - Steelers 82-91

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked Pilots (7-8) were defeated by bottom-ranked Steelers (3-12) 91-82 on Sunday. Steelers looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Steelers made 7 blocks. Jamaican-American power forward Femi Olujobi (206-1996, college: DePaul, agency: Slash Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds for the winners and American guard Rayvonte Rice (193-1992, college: Illinois) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (213-1990, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 18 rebounds and American guard Anthony Lawrence II (201-1996, college: Miami, FL, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. Four Pilots players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Steelers maintains sixth place with 3-12 record. Loser Pilots dropped to the third position with eight games lost. Steelers will meet league's second-placed Kings in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Pilots will play against Lioneers in Hsinchu and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
