An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Fukui. First rankedBlowinds faced 4th placed United . Host Blowinds (24-3) smashed guests from Tokyo (18-9) 105-82 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of United. It was a good game for American guard Tray Boyd III (193-1998, college: ETSU) who led his team to a victory with 29 points. Point guard Masashi Hosoya (173-1989) contributed with 21 points and 4 assists for the winners. American swingman Michael Craig (196-1991, college: Southern Miss) answered with 25 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Hajime Imabayashi (184-1999) added 16 points in the effort for Tokyo Utd. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Blowinds have an impressive series of seventeen victories in a row. Newly promoted Fukui B. maintains first place with 24-3 record.
