The game between closely ranked teams ended with ninth rankedKoGas ' (10-20) home victory over bottom-ranked Samsung Thunders (5-25) 77-71 on Monday. The best player for the winners was Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-1989, college: St.Bonaventure) who scored 31 points and 8 rebounds. The former international guard Nakhyeon Kim (180-1995) chipped in 25 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Ishmael Lane (203-1997, college: NSU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds and the former international point guard Si-Rae Kim (179-1989) added 12 points and 6 assists respectively. Four Seoul Thunders players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. KoGas have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Sono SG. Seoul Thunders lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 25 lost games.
