Regular Season Round 23: LG Sakers - KoGas 78-82

There was a surprise result when ninth rankedKoGas (10-20) defeated 4th placed Sakers (20-10) in Changwon 82-78 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-1989, college: St.Bonaventure) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Seung-Min Shin (195-1998) accounted for 16 points for the winning side. Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and the former international point guard Jae-Do Lee (180-1991) added 16 points respectively for LG Sakers in the defeat. Four LG Sakers players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for KoGas . They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Sono SG. Loser Sakers dropped to the third position with ten games lost.
