There was no surprise when 10th rankedSamsung Thunders (5-25) lost to first ranked Wonju DB (25-6) in Seoul 73-87 on Saturday. Wonju DB outrebounded Seoul Thunders 47-36 including 33 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Dedric Lawson (206-1997, college: Kansas) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. His fellow American import guard Ethan Alvano (185-1996, college: CSUSM) accounted for 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Alvano is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American power forward Ishmael Lane (203-1997, college: NSU) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Dong-Hyuk Shin (191-2000) added 11 points respectively for Seoul Thunders in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Wonju DB maintains first place with 25-6 record. Seoul Thunders lost their fourth game in a row. They stay dead last with 25 lost games.
