WLBL top team -Club Beirut (11-0) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed ninth ranked NSA (1-10) 102-18 . Club Beirut held NSA to an opponent 10.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 49.3 percent accuracy of the winners. Club Beirut forced 19 NSA turnovers and outrebounded them 53-15 including a 20-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Club Beirut looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 2 passes made by NSA 's players. The best player for the winners was the former international guard Miramar Mokdad (170-1987) who scored 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international swingman Daniella Fayad (180-1997) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. Four Club Beirut players scored in double figures. Club Beirut's coach Gilbert Nasrgilbertnasr felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Jana Ghossain who recorded 8 points and Celine Tutunjian added 2 points respectively. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Club Beirut . Defending champion maintains first place with 11-0 record. Newly promoted NSA keeps the ninth position with ten games lost. They share it with Taadod.
