Regular Season Round 25: Shenzhen L. - Shanghai S. 111-112

Important game to mention about took place in Shenzhen. Ninth ranked Sharks (13-12) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 6th ranked Aviators (15-10) 112-111 on Tuesday evening. Shanghai made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Shenzhen L. turnovers. Shanghai players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Shenzhen L. was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Zhelin Wang (214-1994) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Eric Bledsoe (185-1989, college: Kentucky) contributed with 20 points, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. American point guard Darius Adams (188-1989, college: Indianapolis) answered with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 7 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals and point guard Haotian Bai (194-1999) added 20 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Shenzhen L.Five Shanghai and four Shenzhen L. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Shanghai maintains ninth place with 13-12 record, which they share with Beijing D. Shenzhen L. at the other side keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. They share it with Qingdao E.. Shanghai will play against Shandong H. (#14) in Jinan in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Shenzhen L. will play at home against Jiangsu D. (#19) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
