There was a small surprise when seventh rankedAnyang (11-20) beat at home 4th placed Sakers (20-10) 84-80 on Tuesday. Anyang outrebounded LG Sakers 39-28 including 24 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for the former international point guard Jihoon Park (184-1995) who led the winners and scored 24 points. American Robert Carter (206-1994, college: Maryland) accounted for 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Spanish-Colombian power forward Juan Tello-Palacios (206-1985) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and the former international forward Hongseok Yang (199-1997) added 21 points respectively for LG Sakers in the defeat. Five Anyang and four LG Sakers players scored in double figures. Sakers' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion maintains seventh place with 11-20 record. Loser Sakers dropped to the third position with ten games lost.
