Everything went according to plan in Changwon where second rankedSakers (18-7) outscored 7th ranked Anyang (10-15) 94-75 on Tuesday. LG Sakers looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) who scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Naturalized American guard Justin Gutang (191-1997, college: Skyline JC) chipped in 15 points and 7 assists. American Robert Carter (206-1994, college: Maryland) produced 24 points and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Hyo-Geun Jeong (200-1993) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. LG Sakers maintains second position with 18-7 record having four points less than leader Wonju DB.
