Not a big story in a game in Seoul where 10th rankedSamsung Thunders (4-20) were defeated by third ranked Knights (16-8) 89-74 on Monday. Seoul Knights dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Samsung Thunders ' 42. Strangely Seoul Thunders outrebounded Seoul Knights 51-39 including a 22-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Seoul Knights looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Seoul Thunders ' players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Seoul Knights made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points, 13 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 blocks. The former international forward Youngjun An (195-1995) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Knights players scored in double figures. Jamaican center Kofi Cockburn (213-1999, college: Illinois) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 21 rebounds and the former international Junghyun Lee (190-1999) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Knights have an impressive six-game winning streak. Seoul Knights maintains third position with 16-8 record having seven points less than leader Wonju DB. Seoul Thunders lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 20 lost games.
