A very close game took place in Gifu betweenTachikawa and Swoops . Ninth ranked Tachikawa (13-11) got a very close victory on the road over 11th ranked Swoops (9-17). Tachikawa managed to escape with a 1-point win 117-116 on Sunday evening. Tachikawa looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-1990, college: Oklahoma, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 43 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and guard Yoshiki Ametani (190-1999) who added 21 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Five Tachikawa players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American-Dominican forward AJ Bramah (201-1999, college: Nevada) with 37 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American center Baylee Steele (213-1997, college: Duquesne, agency: One Motive Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 30 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Tachikawa moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Tokyo. Gifu lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with 17 games lost.
