There was no surprise in Tokyo where 15th rankedScorpions (7-17) were crushed by twelfth ranked Earthfriends (10-14) 99-73 on Sunday. Tokyo Z dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Scorpions 's 28. Tokyo Z outrebounded Toyoda 44-30 including 33 on the defensive glass. Tokyo Z looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jacob Lampkin (206-1996, college: Alaska-Anch.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 17 rebounds and 7 assists and the other American import forward Nick Allen (203-1997, college: UTSA, agency: Worldwide SM) who added 21 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Coach Eto Kohei's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Guamanian-American guard Earnest Ross (198-1991, college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and American Daniel Laster (199-1996, college: Gardner-Webb) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tokyo Z moved-up to tenth place. Toyoda lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Shinagawa.
