Everything went according to plan when fifth rankedUnited (15-7) defeated 16th ranked Shinagawa (6-16) in Tokyo 83-71 on Sunday. Tokyo Utd dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Shinagawa 's 16. American swingman Michael Craig (196-1991, college: Southern Miss) notched 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Nigerian forward Chukwudiebere Maduabum (206-1991) supported him with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Even 21 points, 5 assists and 4 steals by point guard Ito Ryota (177-1992) did not help to save the game for Shinagawa . Guard Ikumi Takahashi (186-1998) added 15 points for lost side. Shinagawa's coach Tomoro Sano tested twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. United have a solid four-game winning streak. Newly promoted Tokyo Utd maintains fifth position with 15-7 record. Shinagawa lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Shanan Utd.
