The most important game in the last round took place in Busan between third rankedSonicboom (12-7) and tenth ranked Samsung Thunders Sonicboom was defeated by Samsung Thunders in a tough game at home 94-99 . Seoul Thunders made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. Seoul Thunders outrebounded Suwon KT 44-31 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. 26 personal fouls committed by Suwon KT helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Jamaican center Kofi Cockburn (213-1999, college: Illinois) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 20 rebounds and 4 assists (on 17-of-21 shooting from the field) and center Weon-Seok Lee (203-2000) who added 12 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American power forward Paris Bass (207-1995, college: Detroit) responded with 31 points and 7 rebounds and forward Huiwon Han (196-1993) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Five Seoul Thunders and four Suwon KT players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Seoul Thunders maintains tenth position with 4-16 record. Suwon KT at the other side keeps the third place with seven games lost.
