Regular Season Round 4: Steelers - Dreamers 90-91

The most exciting game of round 4 in the PLeague+ ended with only one-point defeat of 5th rankedSteelers (1-6) to second ranked Dreamers (5-1) 91-90 on Sunday evening. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Dreamers made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Brandon Gilbeck (213-1996, college: W.Illinois) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 14 rebounds and 6 blocks (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). The other American import forward Chris McCullough (208-1995, college: Syracuse) contributed with 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Canadian forward Anthony Bennett (203-1993, college: UNLV) replied with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and the former international center Cheng-Ju Lu (194-1986) added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Steelers. Four Dreamers and five Steelers players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Dreamers have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 5-1 record having just three points less than leader Kings. Steelers lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with six games lost.
