Regular Season Round 12: Guangzhou LL - Shenzhen L. 108-115

There was a minor upset in Guangzhou where 8th ranked Long-Lions (7-5) were defeated by tenth ranked Aviators (7-5) 115-108 on Sunday. Shenzhen L. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Jared Sullinger (206-1992, college: Ohio St.) who had a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!), 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. International Xining He (195-1997) chipped in 27 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Albanian point guard Dallas Moore (185-1994, college: UNF) who recorded 35 points (!!!) and 4 assists and point guard Mingru Jia (185-1997) added 13 points and 7 assists respectively. Four Guangzhou LL players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shenzhen L. moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Guangzhou LL and Qingdao E. Shenzhen L. will meet at home Jilin NE T. (#18) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Guangzhou LL will play against Ningbo R. (#19) and hope to secure a win.
