Regular Season Round 3: Al Naft - Sagesse 78-90

An interesting game was played in Baghdad where Lebanese Sagesse (#3) beat host Iraqi Al Naft (#4) 90-78 on Thursday evening. It was a great evening for American guard Pierre Jackson (180-1991, college: Baylor, agency: Slash Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 39 points (!!!). Tunisian forward Radhouane Slimane (204-1980) helped adding 28 points and 7 rebounds. Sagesse's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Shane Gibson (188-1990, college: Sacred Heart) with 24 points and 7 assists and forward Mohammed Nahi (180-2000) scored 20 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Four Al Naft players scored in double figures. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
