No shocking result in a game when second rankedTokushima Gam. (12-4) beat 15th ranked Veertien Mie (5-11) in Yokkaichi 82-77 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-1996, college: CSUN, agency: One Motive Sports) who led the winners and scored 26 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import power forward Jeremy Combs (201-1995, college: Texas Southern) accounted for 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winning side. American forward Josh Martin (201-1995, college: Santa Clara) came up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and guard Yasuyuki Miyazaki (170-1986) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Veertien Mie in the defeat. Four Veertien Mie players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Tokushima Gam. . They maintain second place with 12-4 record having just one point less than leader Fukui B. Veertien Mie lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifteenth position with 11 games lost.
