Very predictable result in Changwon where third rankedSakers (7-4) defeated bottom-ranked KoGas (1-11) 77-62 on Sunday. Sakers outrebounded KoGas 35-23 including 22 on the defensive glass. Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 21 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Hongseok Yang (199-1997) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. Five Sakers players scored in double figures. Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-1989, college: St.Bonaventure) produced 13 points and forward Seung-Min Shin (195-1998) added 10 points respectively for lost side. KoGas' coach Yoo Hoon rotated twelve players saving starting five for next games. Sakers maintains third position with 7-4 record having nine points less than leader Wonju DB, which they share with Seoul Knights. KoGas lost ninth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 11 games lost.
