Not a big story in a game when 9th rankedSamsung Thunders (2-9) were outscored on the road by first ranked Wonju DB (11-1) 102-73 on Saturday. Wonju DB had a 34-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American power forward Dedric Lawson (206-1997, college: Kansas) nailed a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Ethan Alvano (185-1996, college: CSUSM) accounted for 21 points and 12 assists. Alvano is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Wonju DB players scored in double figures. Jamaican center Kofi Cockburn (213-1999, college: Illinois) came up with 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and American power forward Ishmael Lane (203-1997, college: NSU) added 6 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Samsung Thunders in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Wonju DB have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-1 record. Samsung Thunders lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with nine games lost.
