Very expected game when 13th rankedYamaguchi (4-8) lost on the road to ninth ranked Tachikawa (7-5) 92-78 on Sunday. Tachikawa dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Yamaguchi 's 28. They outrebounded Yamaguchi 49-31 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by American power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-1990, college: Oklahoma, agency: Octagon Europe) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 14 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import center Emondre Rickman (208-1996, college: Indiana St., agency: One Motive Sports) supported him with 11 points and 13 rebounds. Four Tachikawa players scored in double figures. Even 23 points by guard Daichi Shimoyama (181-1989) did not help to save the game for Yamaguchi . American guard Desmond Jackson (185-1992, college: AAMU) added 10 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Tachikawa maintains ninth position with 7-5 record. Loser Yamaguchi keeps the thirteenth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Shinagawa and Veertien Mie.
