There was a surprise result when sixteenth rankedShinagawa (4-8) outscored at home higher ranked Gifu (5-7) 87-67 on Saturday. Shinagawa dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Gifu 's 34 and made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Shinagawa had a 35-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for U.S. Virgin Islands forward Shaquan Jules (201-1999, college: Radford) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Ito Ryota (177-1992) helped adding 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Shinagawa players scored in double figures. American-Dominican forward AJ Bramah (201-1999, college: Nevada) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds and American center Baylee Steele (213-1997, college: Duquesne, agency: One Motive Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Gifu's coach tested eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Shinagawa moved-up to fourteenth place. Gifu at the other side keeps the twelfth position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
