Everything went according to plan when fifth rankedShizuoka (7-6) outplayed 7th ranked Bambitious N. (2-11) in Nara 81-56 on Saturday. Shizuoka outrebounded Bambitious N. 41-27 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Liberian-American guard Thomas Bropleh (196-1991, college: Boise St.) notched 20 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward John Harrar (205-1999, college: Penn St.) supported him with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Even 9 points and 9 rebounds by Senegalese center Cheikh Mbodj (208-1987, college: Cincinnati) did not help to save the game for Bambitious N. . Guard Eiji Hayashi (188-1997) added 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Shizuoka maintains fifth position with 7-6 record. Loser Bambitious N. dropped to the sixth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Iwate.
