Regular Season Round 11: Tokyo Z - Tokyo HT 71-82

Very expected game when 10th ranked Tokyo Z (6-6) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Tokyo HT (8-4) 82-71 on Friday. Tokyo HT dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Tokyo Z's 22. It was a great evening for Spanish center David Doblas (208-1981) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Kodai Takahashi (180-1991) helped adding 13 points. Tokyo HT's coach Tyler Gatlin used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Jacob Lampkin (206-1996, college: Alaska-Anch.) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Takumi Ide (174-1999) scored 15 points. Four Tokyo HT and five Tokyo Z players scored in double figures. Tokyo HT have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 8-4 record. Tokyo Z at the other side keeps the tenth position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
