Regular Season Round 4: Tong Whye - Siglap 70-74

Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Singapore: Siglap (#5) and Tong Whye (#4). Tong Whye was defeated at home 70-74 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Tong Whye. Siglap players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by the former international forward Delvin Goh (201-1995) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 26 points, 19 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international point guard Mitchell Folkoff (180-1989) supported him with 16 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Even 34 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds by international guard Yuhui Zhen (180-1998) did not help to save the game for Tong Whye. International forward Lavin Raj V (201-2000) added 20 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Siglap have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Tong Whye at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. They share it with Chong Ghee. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
